How To Make Wall Attached Table

Remembering

Just over two months, the death of Maria Elena Walsh brought back memories to many memory, among them the first time I knew of its existence, when my colleague M. led the College an album of his (probably Look Songbook). I had bought the disc to her younger sister had heard M. and was amazed.

I also remembered when I read the famous article "Misadventures in the Land Kindergarten" , which in turn was seen by many middle class Argentines as a courageous act of resistance against the dictatorship. But it was thanks to my esteemed colleague Profquesada to reread a paragraph or two at that time (1979) sounded reasonable and now seem unworthy of its author, and an aberrant line with the speech of criminals Process:

(...) That the authorities have waged a bitter war against subversion and seek to maintain social peace are widely acknowledged facts. It would just set ourselves up in our turn sensors that know intricate task and we are beneficiaries. But that does not justify the honored survivors of the chaos we enclose a preconciliar convent school, threatened to fall-out "at any time and without knowing why. About

(...) play the tricky task of governing, and banished, and thank-those machine guns everywhere we pointed well attended because of security measures and quarantine should ease that still apply on maturity of a people (...)

After the return of democracy was accompanied by the songs of María Elena Walsh. And later, personally, my children grew up with their creations and enjoyed. Already

that the foregoing does not imply reproach to MEW in particular. I link to my reflections on society in Argentina during the process, more precisely over much of its middle. Who had been relieved on 24 March of '76, because the military promised peace and order. Who looked the other way when an "operative" was flying home or kidnapped people. Society "for something is that they took" and "something be done."

Economically, the company accepted without question the plan of Martinez de Hoz, with its trail of impoverishment, unemployment and indebtedness, and was seduced by the cheap dollar of the "planchette." It was not uncommon to see people who a few years before an image was politicized and revolutionary queuing at airports to travel to Miami and take the "give me two" of the "easy money."

course, this reflection would be dishonest if I did not remember my own attitude in those years. Attended the Faculty of Mathematics and tried to continue my normal life, like other millions of Argentines. Over the months I noticed that some colleagues were seen no more by the faculty, but did not seem wise to ask too. Surely I must have worried about whether my name was on any agenda. Magazines and newspapers "dangerous" that kept my old was charged with a campfire. The fear we had gotten all in the blood, and it seemed perfectly natural. At times it seemed that we had to atone for the collective guilt of having tolerated or of not having enough opposed to "subversion", and that had to pay. And what if you were paying ...

Reports coming from outside about what was happening here seemed too exaggerated, probably were the guerrillas and terrorists escaped to burner the "anti-Argentine campaign." Concentration camps here in our country? "Flight of Death"? Should be pure inventions ... As one painted on the bridge of Avenida Córdoba and Juan B. Just, "Never underestimate the power of denial."

course many sectors "cults" stunned by the excessive, brutal and seemingly stupid repression in the cultural field. The resistance in this area went to read the magazine Humor, for example. It is in this context that the note of ME Walsh. Only after coming economic collapse, the Falklands, the discovery of the truth about the "war against subversion" ... Still, in 1983, much of the sanctimonious middle class, the worst that could happen was that the election triumph Peronism. Which did not happen.

In other anniversaries of March 24 victims remembered and their perpetrators, both direct and indirect . I will not fail to remember, but I think that this reflection was pending.

Three brothers of my colleague M., including her younger sister, were kidnapped during the process and today are still missing.

PS: Of course, "the fear we had gotten all the blood" is an unfair generalization, as there was much @ s that do not fear, or even if they had had that did not stop them fight. Perhaps this explains in part the rejection and hatred that still generate DD.HH. agencies among many "Argentine media" should not be nice to feel that the value of other contrasts with the cowardice and / or complicity of their own. Y when someone that once had prestige in Journalism says "I have fed up with the dictatorship", tune very well with that discomfort.

Rls Marijuana Dopamine

Oh, Catamarca

black "(...) As least as far from San Benito and Santa, Catamarca current situation can not inspire confidence in anyone. To inspire would have clarified a bit , miracle difficult because their blackness comes from many different causes, among which governments are terrible at the same time, cause and effect. Poverty, lack of water, the difficulty and cost of communications, makes this province what it is: a core of people unhappy, badly governed and property taken, and a handful of greedy people and greedy ruling and fleeces. The products of agriculture and mining today succumb in the struggle with freight (...); the worker has to bear a close and mean life, and the owner knows just how to stand. The poverty of the people would necessarily have to determine the economic performance of his government, if for some serve the logic, but it is not; not satisfied with the national subsidy artificially props up its economy, and the little income that could unbled collect the producer, the provincial -somehow you have to call it-have wide resource, and still would charge up the right to breathe, to keep as many employees, since they are almost their only supporters, the "opinion" that surrounds and supports. (...)"

Despite what one might think, the above is not something written in these days. It belongs to Robert J. Payró , who in his book "In the land of Inti" chronicles collected he wrote for The Nation during their journeys to northern Argentina in the late 1890's.

To make a comparison of that with the current Catamarca, I recommend listening to this audio and read the paragraph headed people, wealth, children in this paper Mario Wainfeld:

"The density of population of the province is low, 3.8 inhabitants per square kilometer, the twentieth of Argentina. Nearly half inhabit the capital, almost sixty percent in Greater Catamarca. The civil service remains a decisive factor in the life, culture and politics. In a report broadcast by Radio Nacional, the economist Juan Cruz Miranda made an interesting overview of economic opportunities shelled in successive years. We spent a glossary in this section. The '80s were the stage of establishment of industries failed in the heat of the Act of Reparation Promoted historical activity in San Luis, La Rioja and Catamarca, by way of tax relief. It is well known: Only San Luis took good advantage of comparative advantage.

olive activity is stale but rooted in the 90s and took hold in this century, with the boom in commodity exports. There is good production in Catamarca, Argentina exported 5 percent of olives worldwide. If olive oil is (that is, a way of adding value sung) its share decline to 0.9 percent. The data, generously provided by the grower Victor Tomaselli, speak of tangible limitations of the "model" to transcend their bias by primary.

Mining erupted in this century. Catamarca is an important enclave, almost monopolized by the Alumbrera mine. Even if placed in parentheses (rather than central) controversies over environmental depredation, Miranda believes that the "spillover" of the operation is minimal. Wealth remains concentrated and to the best jobs, the more specialized, are borne by foreigners or Argentine migrants more developed provinces.

In Catamarca, May 2010, 39,773 children received the Universal and Son. That number, divided into 20,946 homes on a population of less than 400,000 Argentines accounts of hardship and inequality is not repaired. The information in May that is the last one on the Internet provides is woefully behind Anses. There may be a slight mismatch because that was the busiest month of beneficiaries, which is known.

However, the change may not have been emphatic, the figure for hits. "

The triumph of the Frente para la Victoria in the provincial election raises hopes of change as probably did other past events, such as the fall of the Saadi dynasty. But beyond the joy of electoral success (and its relevance as an indicator of a national trend), the winners should not lose sight of their responsibility in the transformation of the province and overcoming long-standing problems (as well as new). No doubt the INTI , the INTA the CONICET and other agencies can provide scientific and technical knowledge to generate ideas and development projects, and the provincial government in conjunction with the nation needs to move on infrastructure improvements and facilitate productive investment and generate sustainable jobs.

Although the evils past and present are a burden and difficult to overcome, it would be regrettable that once again "something changes so that nothing changes" and the wave of appreciation of the policy Nestor Kirchner initiated in 2003 dilution in Catamarca in a new frustration. Catamarca May the future, especially the least, no more likely to respond as the character Fontanarrosa when asked

- "How's Don toilet?"

- "Bad, but acostumbráu."

Acl With Meniscus Repair Day 4

The tree, the forest and the Bear

When in June 2004 killed a police hyacinth in the neighborhood of La Boca to Martín "Oso" Cisneros , I was impressed that the hegemonic media (from 10 to Radio Nation, say) will give less importance al crimen que a la posterior toma de la Comisaría 24ª por un grupo encabezado por Luis D'Elía.

Are a couple of paragraphs in the report he did María Moreno:

- you notice a decline even among offenders, previously maintained a certain "code."

- The degradation began with the economic crisis and the crisis were added other things, not just alcohol, but cocaine base, called crack that makes you mad. Yesterday Finch and Martin Rodriguez walked a kid of fifteen. An old man approached him and said "Here, make a sandwich." Then the kid went to steal a television. Then the old man saw him and killed him with a hammer. Fifteen years had ... La Boca has a lot of settlements in closed factories where before many women had laburo and now all they have is that of prostitution, in empty houses after the dictatorship. Is that in La Boca were going to leave a lot of people because the highway was coming down the street Suárez. But what happened? Not done. Then stayed home alone and started taking them. Until recently there were still people who works. The men in the port. And women in food plants, such as Bagley and Terrabusi Avellaneda some textiles or domestic service. That was ending. Then began the migration of desperate people came from the province and feeling the smell of 1986, where internal economies were submerged. Especially along the coast. Factories were closed and the unemployed were being over here. La Boca was a cheaper neighborhood, in the sense that you had to pay guarantee. But in reality, it was cheap, because a piece out two hundred dollars with shared bathroom. At that time the violence was for football. La Boca was libanizada .(...)

- How long have you not go to the Isla Maciel?

- Very. I dread to think what will Maciel Island. In eighty were women who were going to get fat for cracklings refrigerators. As the only food for the kids. Or looking for rats in the dumps. Were cleaned with vinegar and ate. And going to restaurants in La Boca, I'm talking about the town, to get the food from the trash and washing and cooking. Maciel was because the island territory of the port and the port was dismembered. (...) I respect a lot, still what I say is holy word there. For all "Ask Martha." And apart from the fact that I get along poorly with the cane. My history with the 24 th Precinct began because he was against the barra brava of Paquinco , a son of a bitch. And one day this Paquinco just given for beating a pineapple a friend craft. So what escrache. I took it out in the newspaper and I accompanied my friend to make a complaint to the prosecution because if not in the 24 th .(...)

dies

I wonder, the media aimed at them so hard to picketers and their leaders, would you have paid attention in time to the social degradation of the neighborhoods, to the disintegration of economic, social and even emotional? Have they investigated connections to officials of the Police Station 24 th (since we are) to "12" and organized crime in general? Rather than not. Your message rightly pointed to "common sense" the average Argentine, instilling indifference and "do not mess" with antisocial and anti-national policies such as those that prevailed between 1976 and 2001, and then blame the "ugly, dirty and bad" emerging from the consequences of those policies. Something with a long history in our country.

PS: I've here that this blog is worth the modest sum of $ 21,884.01, far of the heavyweights of the blogosphere. If someone is willing to contribute that amount to acquire, welcome. The money will go equally to Rag Ball and Dining The Pibes .

Mujeres Mayores Con Panty

"Folklore and Politics in my time were very young together. The rocks were mostly political in origin and that you are called to act had to be a part. It was a dreamy young and very committed to the country, so I do not mind if I call seventies. "

was by Hugo '74 when my friend invited me to a recital of Huerque Mapu, and incidentally met Naldo Labrín , her brother's friend from childhood shared in San Martin de los Andes. The other team members were Hebe Rosell (sister of Andrew and Javier Calamaro), Lucio Navarro (brother of Ramon, the voice solo The Warlords), and Ricardo Lazarte Tacún Munich.

Huerque enjoyed a certain fame since he had recorded the Cantata , but not often played in concert. That fame was making ominous mark as times were getting progressively darker. Naldo while joking "We are not the disk that Huerque Mapu (Cantata), we Erque Mapu!".

also opened in '74 (for Montserrat and San Telmo, I think) The Mapu Huerque House, where they had also invited artists, as well as serving wine and empanadas. Among those who went out there remember Norma Peralta (sister of Miguel Grandfather, owner of an exceptional voice), the beautiful Venezuelan Cecilia Todd and Alfredo Zitarrosa , at that time in exile in Buenos Aires (unless it has been a dream, I have shared a table at a pizza parlor and gift with Huerque Alfredo ...).

Then the night came Process for Huerque exile. Spain, then Mexico ... Hebe and Naldo there Sanampay formed. At the same time, Naldo joined the guitar quartet accompanying Zitarrosa (as Alejandro del Prado ). In July '83, when Don Alfredo returned to Argentina, in a burst of emotion Works, there Naldo was with his guitar.

Then, with democracy, Naldo accepted an offer of Philip Sapag and was secretary of culture of his native Neuquén. Recently I heard a story that made him the National Radio Folk. There is , directing, performing and teaching music. Go

this memory of Huerque Mapu, with a theme that informs us pending debt of Argentina to the health of its people.

PS: I dedicate this flash of evoking seventies to the kids . Like Luis Bruschtein I also bank.
