, MORE THAN 600 YOUTH FROM 12 TO 18 YEARS IN SITUATION OF VULNERABILITY in incorporating THE PROGRAM jerk

In Mar del Plata, 687 young people joined the Social Responsibility Program Shared Clean and Jerk, for children from 12 to 18 years in social vulnerability being conducted by the Ministry of Development Social Province of Buenos Aires.

In the case of Mar del Plata, the students will be coordinated by 48 tutors located in 5 locations throughout the match . The activities developed in the workshops are divided into four areas: Education, Training For Work, Recreation, Culture and Sport, and ultimately, health.
In the areas of Training for Work are taught carpentry, gardening, metal, cooking, sewing, electricity among others.; In Health workshops are taught sexual education, environment, coexistence, control addictions. Meanwhile
in the areas of Recreation, Culture and Sport is developing dance, drama, Murga, film and debate, football, dance aero, etc. At all locations there are academic support organized by topic.
in the province a total of 21,121 young people benefited from this project, of which 14,701 belong to the suburbs, there are also over 2500 professionals working in the project. Of the 198 in 105 active sites are intended for municipalities with more than 100 000 inhabitants.



PROGRAM
currently are operating 197 offices in the provincial territory they receive daily to 22 thousand kids, so they can complete their education, learn a trade and develop educational, sporting and cultural. 1,800 workers and 2 000 professional guardians.
The "jerk" are the seats assigned for each municipality, through agreements signed in due course, where a team of professionals welcomes kids from school-turn (so they can re-inserted) providing academic support, search for vacancies , literacy and workshops of various kinds. In addition it seeks to contain and treat children with problems of alcohol and drug abuse in the Provincial Centers of Attention (CPA). The program also manages a link between the training offered by the boys and labor demand by implementing existing training and employment practices.
This program works within the framework of Law 13,298, meaning young people as subjects of law. It is a response from the State to ensure access to educational opportunities and job preparation, handling actions that will enable young people regain their self esteem, their capacity building and decision making.
The "Clean and Jerk" is a Shared Responsibility Program being conducted by this Ministry and with the participation of the Nation, the Province and the municipalities, in addition to private companies who contribute to the creation of a fund to pay the scholarship recipients.
